I feel such a deep honor and sense of purpose taking your portraits in gorgeous lighting surrounded by stunning, natural surroundings to help you to recall the fond times and special memories that hold the most meaning for you!
When I was a little girl, I remember looking at photographs of my family and noticing how they evoked a sense of timelessness. I wondered about these people in my world… how they felt, what they thought about, and how they loved each other. I was especially drawn to photographs because they were a split second in time that would never happen again… and I was curious about what the people in the images were saying to each other, or how they felt on special occasions, or the way that style shaped the way they dressed in their time of youth. We cannot always go back in time, but portraits and images can recapture our stories and recall the special moments that truly tell our story, like a fingerprint.
Photography is my passion outside of my full time work as a counselor ~ it seems they are related in understanding emotions & reflecting them back to my clients.
When I edit and develop client’s galleries, I always give it a day to let them rest & come back with fresh eyes before sending them to you.
My favorite part of photographing people is hearing their laughter ~ that is where the magic is!
